Reception

Front of house is Desi our lovely secretary who has many years experience in paediatrics. Desi is a mother of three and understands the challenges of working, looking after one's own family and caring for ageing parents and extended family members. Desi has created and maintains our beautiful sunny balcony garden; full of flowers, herbs and citrus and olive trees. Desi brings a calm, mindful awareness to our clinic.

Desi works Monday to Thursday.

Dr Elisa Rough

Dr Elisa Rough graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1995 and has been working in paediatric medicine for over 20 years.  She has trained and worked in Perth, Western Australia and Lyon, France as well as in regional Victoria.  She enjoys all aspects of paediatric medicine, especially nutrition and mind-body medicine.  Elisa teaches at Monash University in the Health and Well-being program with Dr Craig Hassed.

Elisa is a mother of four children aged between 10 and 20 years.  She is also trained as a children’s yoga teacher and is currently training as a Joey scout leader. Elisa enjoys practising the French and German language and being involved in her local schools, scout group and church communities.  Elisa has presented overseas in France on the topic of mindfulness in paediatric medicine and she is looking forward to co-authoring a new book for families.
